COP BASTARD on Steam Deck
The developer says COP BASTARD “plays very well” on Steam Deck, and Steam lists full controller support. Valve has not published a Verified, Playable, or Unsupported badge. ProtonDB holds a single report, marked provisional Platinum.

What is actually on record
Steam’s category list includes Full controller support. That is a store flag, not a Deck badge. Valve’s compatibility report for app 1742440 comes back with an empty category, so I do not print a Verified label.
ProtonDB’s public summary, checked 2 Nov 2026, shows one report, a provisional Platinum tier, and a pending overall tier. One report is not a community consensus. I leave frame rates and graphics settings blank because nobody has published a numbered Deck profile I can cite.

What the developer said
On the launch thread, a player asked whether it runs well on Steam Deck. targim. answered “YES! Plays very well on steamdeck!” A second performance question is still collapsed as “1 more reply,” so I do not quote it.
If you already own a Deck, the practical path is the Windows build through Steam, with the controller support the store already advertises. Controller button maps beyond that flag are not published.
